ROTARY HELPS DuPage PADS:This week we are asking our members to help with DuPage PADS critical needs, if you can. They have had to suspend their nightly homeless shelters at their regular locations and house their most at-risk homeless guests at local motels at significantly higher cost. They need help with food, water, health and safety supplies. Please consider donating only these essential items listed using curbside drop off boxes located in the parking lots of 703 W. Liberty, Wheaton, 60187. Drop off hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm. Please email me if you have items, and I will safely pick them up from outside your home and deliver them to DuPage PADS.

ROTARY HELPS Little Friends: We are excited to announce we are receiving $1,000 Disaster Response funds from The Rotary Foundation, as part of a $25,000 Disaster Response Grant for District 6450! The funds will be used to purchase $20 Naperville restaurant gift cards for 50 frontline healthcare workers and educators at Little Friends, who care for the higher risk special needs population in their group housing. Please email a note of gratitude for a healthcare worker or educator to President-Elect Alma Jones. She will print and place your notes, along with the gift cards, in envelopes for the staff members.

ROTARY HELPS our Local Restaurants: Let's give our local restaurants some support and love through Dine Naperville. They have supported our Rotary meetings and fundraisers for years. It’s time now to pay them back pick up/carry out/drive thrus - or even buy gift cards on line. Please help if you are able to.

ROTARY HELPS our Community Service Organizations:Please help our Community Service Organizations as we face this COVID-19 crisis together! Click NEEDS for a list of local organizations networks and their immediate needs. Big THANK YOU to Christine Bloom and Rich Tatara for creating this list and managing it. Please contact them with any additional local needs information. Please do what you can and spread the word.
