2006 Recipients of the Rotary Clubs of Naperville's Service above Self Awards College Scholarships Since 1980, the Naperville Rotary Club has awarded scholarships/grants totaling more than $152,000. Applications are being accepted for the Rotary Club of Naperville “Service Above Self” award. High school seniors attending Naperville Central or Naperville North High Schools are eligible. Students with a Naperville mailing address, but are attending a public or private high school outside of Naperville are also eligible. Three $4,000 scholarships will be awarded for one year only to students exemplifying the Rotary ideals of “Service Above Self.” The primary criteria for selection include: demonstrated leadership qualities, school service, and community service. High school seniors may pick up application forms at the Guidance Offices of Naperville Central, Naperville North, Neuqua Valley or Waubonsie Valley High School. Seniors with a Naperville mailing address that are attending other public or private high schools outside of Naperville may go to napervillerotary.com for an application. Completed applications must be received by the Naperville Rotary Club before the due date. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. Two Year Benedictine or North Central College Scholarship This scholarship is to assist a financially needy degree seeking student transferring from College of DuPage for two years study at Benedictine University or North Central College leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor in Business Administration or Bachelor of Science degree.
