Scholarships
The Rotary Club of Naperville is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for high school seniors. The primary criteria for selection are demonstrated leadership qualities, school service, and community service. The following is a breakdown of the different scholarships available to students and payable for one year only.
Gene Drendel Scholarship. This $5,000 scholarship was introduced last year to honor Gene Drendel who was a distinguished Rotarian, a long-time and well-respected educator, and life-long resident of Naperville. This scholarship is awarded to one high school senior who demonstrates academic and athletic excellence.
Service Above Self Scholarship. This $4,000 scholarship is awarded annually to two high school seniors who successfully demonstrate academic excellence and a substantial commitment to service.
At-Hope Scholarship . The criterion for this new, $1,000 scholarship is for a high school senior who is able to demonstrate a dramatic academic improvement over the course of their high school career. One scholarship will be awarded for each of the five, local high schools.
Completed applications are due March 12, 2010 . Late applications will not be accepted. Please type or print in ink all information requested. If necessary, use additional paper to answer questions. Clarity and neatness are important.

Two Year Benedictine
or North Central College Scholarship
This scholarship
is to assist a financially needy degree seeking student transferring
from College of DuPage for two years study at Benedictine University
or North Central College leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor
in Business Administration or Bachelor of Science degree. Completed
applications are due June 16, 2008.
