Dear fellow Rotarians,  As many of you are aware our dear friend and Rotarian Roger Hart passed away and his memorial service is scheduled for this Thursday, March 4. Visitation will begin at 11:30 and the memorial service at 12:30 with Reverend Joel Fortier officiating. Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home and Rotarian Ray Jones are kindly providing the services and is located at 44 South Mill Street.    Please note that Roger’s family asked that there be no flowers, but rather donations to two of Roger’s favorite charities: Little Friends and Heritage YMCA. Our Club is making a donation to each of these charities.     According to the bylaws, the board must approve cancelling a meeting, which they did. The presentation by the NCHS students on microenterprise and hunger has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 11th and the fellowship luncheon has been moved to Thursday, March 25th.   If you know of anyone that you think does not have access to e-mails, please either call them or let me know and I will contact them regarding Roger and the meeting cancellation. We have also notified Key Wester of our cancellation for this Thursday.   My special thanks to all of you that have reached out to Roger over the years and supported his family during these times – Rotarians are the best!  God bless you all and God bless Roger.
