Great Luncheon Meeting at Centennial Beach

On August 13, Rotarians and family and friends enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon of fun and fellowship at one of Naperville's many jewels, Centennial Beach.  Naperville Sunrise Rotarian and Beach Bum Mary Lou Wehrli shared her passion and love for Centennial Beach and provided a historical background on its continuous development for nearly a century.  John Gallagher, Club Service Chair, organized the event and worked closely with Andrea Coates, Aquatics Director, and wife of Steve.  Bill and Karen Garlough of My Chef Catering provided the scrumptious food for our picnic.  We also had former Rotarians  Peter Gates, Kent Demuth (relocated to California), Joe McElroy, and Jim Jacobson join us as they reconnected with friends in a day of fun and fellowship.  Here are some pictures from the afternoon picnic.
