269 Attendees - $6,515 Raised - Over 75 Microenterprise Jewelry Sets Sold

Rotarian and Owner of Meson Sabika, Hossein Jamali, generously opened up his beautiful patio gardent ot 269 people that attended a Tapas and Sangria Tasting on Thursday evening, July 16.  Hossein generously donated all funds raised to Upendo Village.  Throughout the evening, microenterprise jewelry made by the women of Upendo Village was on display and purchased by many attendees.  All funds raised from the jewelry sales went back to Upendo Village to the women that made the hand crafted jewelry and the microenterprise. 

The Rotary Club of Naperville and Naperville Rotary Charities has been generously supporting Upendo Village since 2003.  Since 2003, they have provided HIV rapid screening kits, water well, water defluoridation system, water storage and pump system, family size ovens, goats, and support for the jewelry and other accessory microenterprise programs
